在 InsideGoogle 提到了 Google 在首頁上會隨機出現 Gmail invitation：Google Giving Away Gmail! For Free!。
在文末提了一下 Gmail 在去年四月一號推出 (還記得嗎？大家當時以為這是娛愚人節笑話)，而今年的娛愚人節也快到了：
Wow. I’d almost forgotten that Gmail launched almost a year ago. Just 16 days to its first beta birthday, April 1. I can’t wait to see what Google’s April Fools joke will be.

在 Slashdot 上的「‘Online Poker’ Googlebomb」提到為了反制這些 poker spam，他們決定將 “Online Poker” 這個關鍵字指到 Wikipedia 去 (因為 Wikipedia 的 PageRank 相當高)，以抵制現在的 poker spam…
換句話說，利用 Googlebomb 的方式把這個關鍵字指到 Wikipedia。
這果然是超符合我胃口的方式啊… (雖然如 Slashdot 所說，並不是每個人都喜歡)
雖然 Google 的 Blog 一向被認為比 Yahoo! Search Blog 枯燥 (因為沒有互動性，而且都是拿來當公告)，不過還是很多人訂閱…
今天在上面看到 Blogger API update，主要幾個大的改變就是支援 SSL 以及國際化的 support。
除了內容以外，仔細看這段：

其中 feed 的 link 居然是連到 feedburner 而非直接提供用戶連結？我記得 feedburner 沒被 Google 買掉啊？
Yahoo! Publisher Network，在「Yahoo版Adsense」看到的消息。

在 Tim Bray 的「Google Is Wrong」這篇文章裡講到最近 Google Autolink 的事情，他想了想以後覺得「Google Is Wrong」。
這使得大家開始不信任 Google，而最近 Microsoft 的表現看起來可圈可點，但是 Microsoft 不可信任… (XD)
從 Jeremy Zawodny 的 blog 上 Yahoo! Search Web Services Launch! 這篇文章看到的。
Yahoo! Search 的 Web Services 正式開跑了，正式的公告在 Announcing the Yahoo! Search Developer Network and Search Web Services。
在 Yahoo! Search Web Services 有提供 SDK，所有的服務都以 REST 的方式與 client 溝通。包含了 Image Search、Local Search、News Search、Video Search 以及大家最常用的 Web Search。
同時，不像 Google APIs 以 User ID 為主，Yahoo! Search 用的是 Application ID，這點在 Developer Network FAQ 裡面有說明。
