不安全的「電腦防護軟體」

在 看到的消息：The Insecurity of Security Software，引用了 的文章 Computers’ Insecure Security，指出了目前的防護軟體漏洞滿天飛 (以「防護軟體」的標準來判斷)。

在 Computer-Security Software Flaws 這張表格裡面可以看到各廠商的防護軟體出包的次數。

另外在 Comments 的地方看到這段 XD

PS：不知道 是誰的，除了可以用 找中文版資料知道他的身世，另外也可以找 要「教材」XD

在 的 Yahoo Domains: $9.95 or $4.98? 看到的：

On the pricing front, several hosting companies are running domain promotions priced below Yahoo’s, including , which has a “limited time offer” of $3.95 for a one-year .com domain. Meanwhile, Netfirms is apparently preparing to end the $4.95 a year pricing it announced in February, as the price is now accompanies by a “hurry, offer ends soon” warning.

SHA-1 broken 的後續

王小雲那篇 SHA-1 broken 的 paper，現在可以下載了： 的 Finding Collisions in the Full SHA-1。

先前沒有放出 paper 的原因 在他的 blog 上「SHA Cryptanalysis Paper Online」這篇有提到，主要是因為 要求投稿論文不能先公開，但 ( 的發明人) 有拿到這份論文先看過，所以他在二月的時候就有在他的 blog 上提出說明。

今年八月在聖塔巴巴拉的 王小雲會到場 present。

WordPress Search 現在透過 Yahoo! Search API 處理

在 Yahoo! Search Web Services 這篇文章裡面提到的 終於看到應用了… (也許很多人都在用，只是我不知道 :p)

在 的 New WP.org Search 提到了在 IRC 聚會的時候有些人希望 提供更完整的 Search 服務 (除了 forum 外，包括 Wiki、Codex)，於是 就開始寫，但是他發現他必須到好幾個不同的 host 查詢，而且速度很慢。

於是他試著用 Google Site Search，不過他發現 不喜歡 所使用的 HTML，於是他轉向 尋求協助。

在 WordPress Search, Powered by Yahoo! 提到了 有找他問 的用法，於是過沒幾天就看到 在他 blog 上提到新的 了 :p

以 Technorati 對 Yahoo! 及 Google 的比較

在 Yahoo Search vs. Google and Technorati: Link Counts and Analysis 這篇文章裡面提到了 所寫的文章：Technorati Yahoo and Google Too，文章裡面以 的 Top 100 Blog 對 (這邊指的是 ) 與 做比較。

PS：題外話， 在 Yahoo blogger responds to comparison to Google and Technorati 居然問 如何… 你家 是個渣啊 XD

在 Diablo II 中墮落

這幾天沒在 blog，原因是都跑到美西去練功了 :Q

然後練一練就去寫 的 code… 目前看起來 semaphore library (用 semaphore 實做 read/write mutex) 的部分沒問題了，要把 bbsd 用到的 code 整個檢查一次 :o

PS：用 semaphore 實做 read/write mutex 的方式我是參考 Implementing a Read/Write Mutex 這篇文章的說明。
